The culture in LA is rather addictive - it’s hard not to enjoy the shopping, stylish restaurants and mainstream attractions. LA is the ideal place to relax and watch the world go by. However, dig a little deeper and you will LA is more than simply a playground for the rich and famous.

The art scene is growing, there are endless museums to take advantage of and the nightlife is first class. As soon as you start to make your way through the endless neighbourhoods you will get a sense of the creativity that infiltrates the city.

Foodies will also appreciate the culinary scene on offer in LA, there are plenty of world class chefs trying to make their mark in the numerous high end restaurants. LA is heaven for those who can’t resist a spot of retail therapy. The famous stores are located in Rodeo Drive, Melrose Avenue has a bit more of a quirky sense of style and Robertson Boulevard has all the designer boutiques. There’s also the Grove, a mini outdoor shopping centre with some well-known outlets. Also don’t miss the Rose Bowl Flea Market which has around 2,500 vendors selling all the products you could possibly imagine.

If you enjoy the odd night out on the town then you will certainly feel at home in LA. It boasts one of the best clubbing scenes on the west coast. Celebrities flock here hoping to get spotted by the paparazzi in some of the most exclusive venues.
