ATLANTA is known to many as the capital of the New South. It sits within the Georgia and is the largest city in the entire state. Atlanta is a fascinating place to visit, it instantly draws you in and it’s easy to see why it’s such a popular place to visit. Big attractions, historic roots, fantastic shopping and a mix of inviting cuisines, Atlanta is a city that has it all. Go and watch an Atlanta Falcons Game, explore when Martin Luther King Jr used to live or see Mei Lan, a Giant panda cub at the awesome Atlanta Zoo.

Experience warm Southern hospitality in this city that’s full of surprises. Atlanta has quirky neighbourhoods to explore as well as some extremely upmarket areas with high end boutiques for the fashionistas out there. Wine and dine yourself in one of the many restaurants or head into town for a night to remember. Atlanta is ideal for a wide variety of travellers, because there is so much to see and do, no matter what your tastes and interests are.

You can visit Atlanta all year round, summers are generally warm and humid and winters aren’t too cold (temperatures average around 6 degrees in January). If you don’t like to travel in the heat then visit between March and June, temperatures can up to the early 30’s in July. There are lots of events on during the summer months, so if you do like the sunshine then this is a good time to go. Atlanta is also worth a visit in autumn and winter when shoppers can take advantages of the sales.
