If you’re planning to make the long trip Down Under, look no further than Globehunters for cheap flights to Australia.

Known for its rugged landscapes, gorgeous beaches and vibrant cities, why not follow in the footsteps of the explorers of the 17th century and visit this amazing country?

Here at Globehunters we offer flights to a number of Australian cities, including Australia’s oldest city, Sydney, cosmopolitan Melbourne and Perth on the West Coast.

Away from the cities though, you can step in what many consider the ‘real’ Australia: The Outback.

Sights such as Katherine Gorge, the Devil’s Marbles and Ayers Rock are just some of the amazing sights to see across the many national parks of Australia if you fancy getting out and about during your stay.

If you’d rather a more relaxing trip, Queensland is known for the relaxing beach resorts of the Gold Coast, as well as quieter destinations such as the Whitsunday Islands.

If you want to see one of the natural wonders of the world, strap on your snorkel or scuba kit and take a dive into the Great Barrier Reef, or if you’ve always fancied learning to surf, look no further than Bondi Beach.

Whatever your plans are in Oz, be sure to check our fares here at Globehunters to ensure that you get the best deal possible.

We are proud to offer Business class flights to Australia as well as economy.

Flying to Australia from the UK

Here’s everything you’ll need to know when flying from the UK to Australia, such as flight times and entry requirements.

Flight Times

Unfortunately, there are currently no direct flights from the UK to Australia (although Qantas will be offering a London to Perth service starting next year), so the flight will require a stopover, usually in the Middle East.

This means that flights generally take about 20 hours to the West Coast, and 25 to the East.

The actual flight time will depend a lot on your departure airport and route, so be sure to get in touch with our travel experts to ensure that you get the best possible deal for you.

Entry Requirements

British Citizens will require a visa to travel to Australia, either in the form of an eVisitor visa free of charge from the Department of Immigration & Border Protection, or as an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) visa from your travel agent or airline for $20.

In some cases, especially for older travellers, you may also have to undergo a health examination before your visa can be granted and you will also have to prove that you have enough funds to support your stay in the country, along with a return or onward ticket.
