METHODOLOGY

Taking an average of June 2016’s exchange rate before the Brexit referendum (23rd), we calculated what value the pound had against euros and dollars.

Taking today’s exchange rate, we can calculate the impact of Brexit on the value of the British pound.

Taking the value of some items abroad, we’ve also calculated how far your money used to take you, and how much extra British travellers are paying for the same items.
