Nowadays, Wi-Fi is generally seen more as a necessity than a luxury, and while airports have traditionally been quite poor at providing passengers with an internet connection, it seems that things might be improving. Research from 2014 found that just two of the UK’s biggest airports provided unlimited free Wi-Fi, but looking at things in 2017, we found that 9 out of the 20 biggest airports offered this, including London Heathrow and Birmingham International.
