Tampa: What to See


It’s difficult to summarise all the things that you can see and do in Tampa, the list is endless. The main attraction in the area is Busch Gardens, a huge 335 acre adventure park that’s suitable for all the family. Get face to face with endangered animals on the Jungala tour or plunge 335 feet at 60 miles per hour on the new Falcon’s Fury. A trip to Tampa isn’t complete without a few days at Busch Gardens. Another big attraction in Tampa is the Museum of Science and Industry.

If you prefer a more tranquil break then don’t fret, Tampa is famous for its many amazing beaches such as Davis Beach and Sand Key Park Beach. If you want to stay active then there are plenty of water sports to try including kayaking, parasailing and jet skiing.

Wildlife is never far away in Tampa, the kids will love attractions such as Lowry Park Zoo and the Florida Aquarium. Or get up close and personal with wild cats at Big Cat Rescue. Families will also enjoy making a splash at Adventure Island Water Park. If you want to head to the great outdoors spend some time at Lettuce Lake Park where you can enjoy activities such as canoeing and bike riding along the nature trails. Another lovely outside space you should visit is the University of South Florida Botanical Gardens.

Golf is also extremely popular throughout Florida and Tampa is no exception. There are some great Golf courses where you can test out your skills in the sunshine.
