Bangkok: Sightseeing Guide

There are plenty of things to do in Bangkok and some impressive sights to see. One of the first things you will notice about the city is how many temples there are; the city is home to over 400 magnificent ancient temples. Make sure you see some of the temples during your stay such as the Temple of the Golden Buddha, Wat Pho and Wat Arun.

Other sights worth seeing include the amazing Grand Palace, the official residence of the Kings of Siam. There’s also the The Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, a museum filled with some of Thailand’s finest cultural artifacts.

Try and visit Chinatown at some point, here you can tuck into the fresh street food, shop for bargains and dine at the restaurants where there is a huge choice of different cuisines.

A great way to see some of the sights around the city is on a boat tour, Bangkok is often called the ‘Venice of the East.’ To see the city from above, head to the Sirocco Bar, which is located on the roof of State Tower.
